HOST an UBUNTU CONCERT

A world-class concert experience that brings communities together.

Live performance. Shared stage moments. Meaningful fundraising.

Who it's for

UBUNTU Africa concerts are hosted by schools, churches, and community groups who are able to bring people together for a shared live music experience.

They suit school halls, church spaces, and community venues where people can gather for a meaningful night of music and connection.

If you can gather an audience and provide a suitable venue, you can host a UBUNTU concert.

The Concert Experience

UBUNTU Africa delivers a high-energy, world-class live performance featuring song, movement, rhythm, and storytelling.

Performances blend traditional and contemporary African music with powerful personal stories, creating moments that are both entertaining and deeply moving.

Each concert is delivered by the full UBUNTU Africa ensemble and designed to inspire connection, reflection, and celebration.

How the night runs

Concerts are approximately one hour in length and are designed to be smooth and professionally run.

UBUNTU arrives around two hours before the concert to set up, then performs and packs down on the same night, keeping the process simple and low-stress for hosts.

Merchandise is sold before and after the concert and is an important part of the event, with space for tables in a visible area appreciated.

Shared Stage Opportunity

Local choirs are invited to be part of the concert experience, creating a meaningful shared moment on the night.

This may include performing as the support act, learning a finale song in advance, and joining UBUNTU on stage for the final number.

This shared stage experience often becomes a highlight for singers and audiences alike

What we need from you

Concerts are designed to fit easily into existing school, church, or community settings and require clear but simple preparation.

Hosts typically provide:
• A suitable venue, preferably donated or low-cost
• Seating for a minimum
audience of 200 people
Sound and lighting appropriate to the space
• Space in a visible area for
merchandise tables
• A small number of volunteers if requested

All practical requirements are confirmed in advance with our team.

What hosts and communities gain

By hosting a UBUNTU concert, communities gain more than a performance.

Hosts experience:
• A professionally delivered, world-class live concert
• A meaningful shared
cultural experience
• An opportunity to raise funds for education and opportunity
• A strong sense of
connection and goodwill within their community

Many hosts tell us the concert becomes a highlight of their year.
