UBUNTU Africa Workshops

High-energy African music workshops that lift spirits, spark connection and leave people smiling, moving, drumming and singing together.

Inside an UBUNTU Africa Workshop

UBUNTU Africa workshops are immersive, participatory experiences designed for joy, cultural exchange and shared energy. They invite people to laugh, move and connect, experiencing the uplifting power of coming together through music and rhythm.

Who it's for

UBUNTU Africa workshops are designed for groups of all ages and abilities, with no musical experience required.

They are ideal for:

  • Schools and year groups

  • Community groups

  • Churches and parish communities

  • Festivals and events

  • Staff, leadership or wellbeing days

Workshops are especially suited to groups looking for a shared experience that brings people together through music, movement and joy.

What you'll experience

Participants are guided through African songs, rhythms and simple movement in a relaxed, high-energy environment that invites everyone to join in.

Sessions include call-and-response singing, body percussion, rhythm games and shared movement, all led by UBUNTU’s performers in an encouraging, inclusive and playful way.

The emphasis is on feeling the music in your body, responding to one another, and enjoying the moment rather than getting anything “right.”

People leave feeling uplifted, energised and connected, with a strong sense of having shared something joyful together.
