The Exchange is a two-week scholarship-supported experience in Uganda for creative, community-minded Australians.
Participants travel in a small group, sharing music, creativity, workshops and everyday experiences with local artists, schools and communities.
It’s an opportunity to build genuine connections, experience creativity in a different cultural setting and bring new ideas and inspiration back home.

What you'll
experience
Over two weeks in Uganda, participants connect with local artists, schools and communities through music, creativity, workshops and everyday life.
The experience may include:

Participants travel as contributors, collaborators and learners within a small, supportive group.

Scholarship
SUPPORT
Subject to funding, selected participants may receive scholarship support to help cover some of the costs of participating in The Exchange.
This may include support toward:

accommodation and meals

in-country transport

workshops and exchange activities

participant preparation and support

The Exchange is planned to take place in Uganda in September/October 2027.
Final dates, locations and participant details will be confirmed once funding outcomes are known.
