RACHAEL WOODS - ARTIST

 

Rachael Woods is a Wongutha and Badu Island woman raised in Perth, Western Australia. She attended a Music scholarship high school, singing with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra Chorus at 18 years of age.

 

Moving to Sydney, she studied and gained a Diploma of Dance from the National Aboriginal and Islander Skills Development Association ( NAISDA).  

On graduating she danced with the Australian Dance Theatre travelling overseas.

 

She has drawn and painted most of her life and plans to finish her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts.

 

Rachael is proud to present her Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary drawing designs.
